Faya-Largeau - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This place has nearly the same annual average high as Mecca.

The equatorial monsoon in Africa's summer just barely affects Faya-Largeau...

I give this climate an F of course. Chad and Sudan probably have the worst overall climates in Africa (except Dallol of course).

This place makes N'Djamena look like paradise.

I give it an A- like Mecca... summers are a bit too hot but otherwise a very decent climate

My first F. This climate hasn't got any positives for me. Too hot, and only 1 month with rain. No thanks.

I would mark it down to a C for excessive heat. I don't trust Wiki's rainfall profile at all. This one is completely different and looks more realistic.

Hmm, I'll change it to a D+ then. 4" in August isn't too bad.

D-, like Mecca has 3 months of tolerable weather only.
Dallol is worse.

C

6 months are good and I'm pretty sure I could handle the other ones. They are way too hot though.
