I turned into a lobster after 7.5 hours at the beach today (even after 2 applications of sunscreen), feeling very sore. Quite a lovely day today though, my friends and I were guessing the temp, I guessed 25˚C, it was 24.9˚C. Great conditions before the sea breeze.

I always tell my nickname in reps, even if it's just "Nice! -Ariete" in the photo thread. I get a lot of unnamed reputations, but those from Galaxyman I can guess out, as the comment usually says that I should drink more alcohol.
I know you just repped me because I saw an anti-serb comment in the description lol

Even at that temperature, after 2 applications of sunscreen, you still get burnt here. It's ridiculous.

It did get to ~30˚C at the beach though, just ~25˚C at around 3pm. Quite tired now, and sore on my back but that's karma for not bothering to put on extra layers.
Lol, Serbs. An inordinate number of Serbs I've encountered online have been extremely pro-Russian and anti-Ukrainian, oftentimes even more so than Russians themselves.
Seriously, Serbs are mostly nice people, at least the few I've met. But when they start to talk about politics or you play some competitive game against them they become complete idiots.
And never trust a Serb. Never. In fact, don't trust Croats, Slovenians, Bosniaks, Albanians or Macedonians either. If every lying backstabbing former Yugoslav would be made as Christmas tree decorations in the willows, you'd have to rent some of the willows in Renmark, as all European ones would be already decorated.
(I'm exaggerating, so please don't take offence, but I come from a culture where keeping your promises is absolutely essential, and have little respect for this kind of attitude.)
Ate varenyky this afternoon for lunch - definitely a treat, even if they're only the Poppy's variety.
Why not do them yourself? Would be twice the treat. Or how the hell could I know?
I don't eat Slav food, I'll rather drink birch sap than eat from the plate of our enemies. Oh, but Poles and Croats are Slavs too, and they are our friends. Ok, I'll do pierogies one day if I can find a decent recipe and promise to take pictures.
Fun fact: The Finnish word for pie (piirakka) comes from the Slavic 'pirog'. In Swedish and Norwegian it's a direct unchanged loan word.

We do for Christmas Eve. My mom has the task every year and makes them according to Baba's recipe. But it takes many hours to pinch together 100-150 or so for the whole family.

Frozen ones are good enough otherwise.
Yeah I remember you mentioned that. And you use to help out.
At the Stockmann retail stores here, one of the very few locations, you can find frozen pierogies, and I tried them once. They were quite good actually.
I didn't even know what pierogies were before you mentioned them. And I think most Finns not having been in Poland or Ukraine don't do either.
