Those are all just pipe dreams that are not actually being seriously considered. This Etihad 777 is the most uncomfortable plane I ever flew on. The 10 abreast layout is cramped as ****, the seat was rock hard and the arm rests are tiny. The service was good, but for an ultra-long haul route, this high density layout is unforgivable. Qatar's 9 abreast 777 was much better, but they are also moving to this ****. They are going to fly the A350 into Adelaide which will be good for me and hopefully more comfortable.
THe Niki A320 we transferred to was a palace by comparison. Bigger seats, more legroom, I was stunned at how much more comfortable it was.
That would not be a mainline service so doesn't count.
Oh man I feel your pain. The long flight to croatia was hell as a 6'5" person in economy. Like sardines lmao

What airlines and aircraft are you guys flying with?
777's are to be avoided, almost every airline is doing this 10-abreast bull**** now. This particular vessel is designed for 9-abreast and that used to be the norm until one greedy ****er changed it and the rest followed suit. Think about it, the A380 is also 10 abreast, with a much wider cabin than the 777.
In my case, the Abu Dhabi-Vienna leg with the Niki A320 is paradise compared to that ****ing 14 hours of Etihad cattle class. When I transferred, I was literally taken back by how much bigger the seats were, the more legroom and how open and roomy the cabin was on the A320 compared to what is supposed to be one of the world's premier long haul airlines on one of the world's premier aircraft

The A380s would be more comfortable than the 10-abreast 777's for sure. Lucky. But at 6ft 5, you are very tall so I can understand your discomfort. I don't think you'd even fit in the narrow 777 seats let alone have any semblance of comfort, over 14 hours nonetheless. As I said, the A320 was a revelation in comparison. It was like ****ing business class in comparison to Etihad's 777.
Qatar are bringing the A350 to Adelaide, wonder how that will compare to the 777 cattle class.

I also forgot to mention, on the flight back I had exit row seats for the 8 hour haul to malaysia. It was something lol.
I think the A380 had the 3-4-3 config, I was in the 4 -_-
Lol how do you know so much about what every poster does? I swear sometimes you bring up **** that I've said like two years ago that I forgot I even said lol
Nomadicus and SATX aren't that difficult to find, look at the number of reps (i also post occasionaly in the other topic forum where they post frequently)
Not just me, even new posters (donar joined 2013) think that you're dxi (banned 2011), look at unhappy thread II

I know that, but you seem to know everything about everyone on this forum. Kinda weird.
Ugh, roommates having a bunch of people over and being loud as ****. At the very least, they could turn the annoying rap music down.
