It's April now. Which inhabited town holds the title of having the coldest April on Earth??

Nope, it's not Oymyakon, Verkhoyansk, or anything in Siberia.

That title goes to Cambridge Bay, NU with an April mean of -21C. Some nearby places might be colder. Wish I lived there:

Typical north america eastern prairie 50N weather this time of year, meanwhile Alberta and Saskatchewan are ~ 20C right now everywhere.

Phoenix may reach near 100 degrees next Wednesday! Which is very early, the average 1st 100 degree day is usually around May 12th.
