Hartford Area? Only 1 year had a warmer summer...in 111 yrs of records. Not Connecticut summerlike. This is Washington D.C like.

More?

Number of consecutive days the low stayed above 70°... Nope.. doesn't happen often. Only 1 year had more. Warm Humid mornings. This is "consecutive" not total number of days.

You want total number?

Here you go. Not summerlike. Rare. Record. Extreme. 31 days the low stayed 71 or warmer.

How about 70 or warmer streak? Not only in Top 10 but this summer is there twice. Weeks and Weeks

How about a 7 day Avg? Rare to have a 7 day Avg temp near 84°. Only 1 yr was higher than this year.

Consecutive days the Average daily temp was 78° or warmer... Not only ties a record this year but happened again in July and tied for 3rd most.

The waters??

Record or near record warm Ocean off the coast. Look at the anomalies. Add a ridge and Bermuda High and you get what we got this summer. Record warmth with relentless humidity.

The Dew points??

22 Days Max dew point was 70° or muggier last 4 weeks.
Hit 77° 5 times in last 2 weeks.

Max Dews Since July 1st

Under 60: 0
60-65: 9
66-70: 13
Over 70: 30

JFK Dew point streak above 70 a record...(never happened before) 180+ consecutive hours.

I never got to experience those record warm sea temps.. it was under 70 back on the 13th

This summer has gone by too fast. Not enough summer, or summerlike, weekends left.

Cool and dry today, quite pleasant after all the humidity recently. Took until noon to make it to 70. I love the 46 dropping and 42% humidity. Going right back up to 80s and low 90s tomorrow though.
