Forgot about Richmond. I can sense the tension. Some folks ready to jump off a bridge while other folks dance. So much for consistency of track now. Euro throwing a loop
Lol. Euro12z snow totals. So many got screwed, and lucky, on that run.
A possible trend or a bad run?
So if I'm reading that map right it seems to show 3 feet in Richmond! While with weather you can never truly say "never", I'm betting against that on pure climatology (i.e. very likely rain mixes in for part of it which while it is not "gospel" either is what NWS is saying so far as well as temps near 40 though like the northeast they are still in the 20s right now). Has even 2 feet ever fallen at once in Richmond? (One foot I'll certainly believe, it's southern Virginia, not Florida). And yes I realize you posted a Dan Leonard tweet saying how truly historic that would be.....
Where WPC places the storm Saturday & Sunday morning.
Maybe they don't agree on the south shift or maybe they are waiting a few more runs but that's well north of the Euro for sure and near Benchmark off MA.
I'm pretty skeptical, but if we get 18 inches of snow, I'm not complaining.
Except we'll be out of school for 2 weeks!
