Updated...our met now has a functioning sunshine recorder in Trondheim, at the university area, so in the city itself!! Data available back to late Dec 2015.

Interesting to see how many sunhours can be recorded here in mid-winter, we are just ca 3° latitude south of the Arctic Circle. January 4th was a pretty clear day, 3.6 sunhours recorded. Daylenght is ca 1 h 15 min longer. Another example: Feb 19: 8.1 sunhours recorded. Daylength is 9 h 6 min that day.

Also, have added precip days.

Max snowdepth: At Trondheim-Voll, max snowdepth in January was 30 cm and in February 20 cm.
Trondheim AP Værnes, max snow depth: 14 cm in Jan and 9 cm in Feb.

Daily mean at Voll (127 m) in Feb was -0.5C. At Ranheim (20 m), mean was 0.5C
