Exactly! Nothing better than lounging at the beach and doing a bit seal hunting and whale watching,
trying doing that Jamaica, man....not possible! Canada’s beaches are the best, where else can you get
sunburnt and frost bitten on the same day....?

It's not really about how warm summer places can get even warmer, but about how cool summer places aren't always as cold and uninviting as some would imagine.

Beach culture isn't something confined to warm summer countries.

I said compare Canada to the rest of the world, not to scour the Earth for the one or two places that might possibly have worse beaches.

What about Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam and Virgin Islands?
I loved Kailua Beach on Oahu... one of my all time favourite beaches!

Just telling how I feel. We don’t have mountains like the Alps or Canadian Rockies, but we have decent bit of everything.

Why does the distinction matter? An American can just as easily move to Hawaii if they can afford it than they can to Connecticut.

Hawaii to me is more foreign than American and the natives despise us for stealing their island illegally. Alaska way too cold to hike and enjoy those mountains. And we legally obtained Alaska not Hawaii. And Alaska not so foreign at all.

Canada’s focus is on their mountains rightfully. Their beaches are forgettable imo. I don’t know if anyone that goes to Canada for a beach vacation but people do for Cape Cod for example.
