I remember Leeds trying to get a metro system in place for less but the government rejected it because it was deemed too expensive. What a farce. Scotland and Wales should be very angry as well. Seems the only way you can get any extra funding in this country is by blackmailing the government.

A lot of it will be for defence and security, since NI is still an unstable mess, albeit less so than 20/30 years ago.

Belfast did look awful, while at the same time being incredibly expensive. If you want a good vacation then skip Belfast and stick to Dublin
