What I also like about it is I can choose the denominations of cash I want. I prefer 10s and 5s over 20s. Or if I have to pay my parents, I prefer to do it with 50s versus a bunch of 20s.

I'd rather make smaller purchases with those notes versus a 20.
Once had some guy at a liquor store give me back a 5 as change when it should have been a 10, for a purchase that I made with a 20 that was under ten dollars. Honest error? IDK - I suspect otherwise. Never went back to that particular place.

Make purchases with the card or create notes clearly different from each other?
Paying for a 2 dollar drink with a card is odd IMO.
Always good to have at least some cash with you. Especially with smaller places that don't take cards, come across that many times here for which I was glad I had cash.
