snj90 would probably be fine with that. IIRC he mostly hates Trump because of his apparent love affair with Russia, and we all know how much snj90 hates Russia (and allies).

My parents are always complaining because their renters don't ring up until something is broken instead of ringing when it's breaking. Of course, by then they have to fork out the money to replace it.
The renters are English so that's probably something to do with it.

And of course they are going to let you know when something is broken, if you rent out a furnished place & the washing machine stops working how can you let them know before it is broken??

They don't ring up when an appliance isn't working, like a tap. They sit on it and sit on it for ages, then it's too late to fix it.
