I've seen dark skinned people hospitalised from sunstroke. It doesn't have to be hot.

Difference is we are talking about September in northern finland. You live in new Zealand and it's much more plausible there.

Headline says: "a negro and an arab got sunstroke in Oulu".

Blaa blaa, English ship, both needed medical attention, blaa blaa
Lol wtf. Did it really say "negro"? I thought it isn't "PC" to do so?

To those who pump iron on here: do you take protein supplements?

Nope. Fun fact: If you eat 36 eggs a day it has the same affect on muscle growth as anabolic steroids. I wouldn't advise that though. Just eat some good old protein from steak, chicken, fish, and eggs and even milk. I believe the equation to figure out how much protein you need as a body builder is 1.5 grams of protein per every 1 kilogram of weight on you. Just keep up with that, if it's hard I guess you can take some proteins supplements but I never have.

Yes. Keep my protein intake between 200-250 grams a day. I've been going very low carb for about 6 months now, keeping carbs down to 55-75 grams a day. Very hard.

Not too bad for a guy soon to be turning 44

Not even close. I eat between 10-15 egg whites a day. Trust me, protein intake alone cannot remotely come close to hormone supplements. The guys I know who are juicing with 1000mg of testosterone or trenbolone (and throw a little HGH in) are beasts, and wouldn't be half their size if they just relied on protein no matter what amount they ate.

Depends on how big and burly you want to be I suppose. George is looking good but some people just want a slim toned physique, like a soccer player.

My work is a bit like working out all day, so I eat/not eat for energy levels.

I thought muscle mass mattered more than body weight as far as protein requirements are considered. I weigh 185lbs and I'd like more muscle but there's no way I'd be able to consume 200+ grams of protein a day.
