Winters are dry and sunny. There are occasional snowfalls, sometimes heavy but there is rarely snow on the ground for more than a few days. Rain is very rare in winter and sunshine is common. Temperatures are variable with highs ranging from the high teens to low 60s--sometimes only a day or two apart--and lows from below zero to slightly above freezing. Hardiness zone is 6A.

Spring starts off sunny and dry in March before becoming increasingly stormy. Large temperature swings are still common with the last snow typically occurring in early April (the latest ever snowfall was in early June). However, summer-like heat happens just as frequently. Late April and May feature many thunderstorms, occasionally severe. Tornadoes can happen, but are a rare sight.

Summer is hot and dry. June starts off like May with occasional storms. High pressure dominates in July, with little rain occurring only as isolated thunderstorms. This can lead to an elevated fire risk. August starts off dry, but monsoonal moisture from the south produces some storms. Highs range from the high 60s or low 70s to the low 100s. Lows can fall into the 30s and rarely rise above the high 60s providing relief even in the hottest days. Heat zone is 7 with 68 days over 86.

Fall starts out warm in September and cools down rapidly. Snow doesn't usually fall before late October but has been recorded in September. Late fall is quite dry and sunny.

I would give it a C because your summers are just too hot and dry for me.

C-, the highs are great from March-December but the diurnal range is nuts! I like the cool July nights but otherwise it's just too cold in the nighttime. Also there's too much snow

Too warm and dry over all. Not a fan of sunny winters... reminds me of some winter days in late feb that are sunny and you know spring is gonna be here before you know it (barf).

So many winter days in the 40s are also depressing. Winter should always be like 30 degrees every single day, with a few very cold 0-19 days mixed in here and there. <3 Sorry but 40-49 degrees fahrenheit is the ****tiest temperature range. You might as well jump up the winter temps to the 50s and make it rainier... then I'd give it a B.

(ironically I like your spring months the best tho despite my user name)
