The average temperatures for July were pretty much exactly average but there was very little deviation at all, with barely a 2C difference between the averages and records. April, May, and June this year all had (slightly) warmer record highs than July.
It was also apparently very cloudy especially in the first half of the month, though I was out-of-town for a few weeks so I missed a lot of it. I did notice most of the grass was green when I got back in the second half of the month, which is very unusual at that time of the year.
From what I see, Vancouver has very different temperatures than Seattle. It's wetter too.
Yep, even here we have trees that fried since june. There are multiple sources to get the drought monitor map, this is the one I use. This link is beneficial for information on the south.
July in Malta was about average, starting off below average for the first two days & again a few days mid month, with a hot spell in the second week...
Stats from my PWS in St Paul's Bay on the northern coast:
Average High: 32.4C (+0.1C)
Average Low: 25.0C (+0.3C)
Overall Mean: 28.7C (+0.2C)
Precipitation: 72.3mm, 14 days
Sunshine Hours: 199.9 hours (first day of the month had no sunshine data recorded, so the figure is higher than 199)
Not from the ES then?
