Perfect sunshine avg, perfect temps, I was going to say this is better than Sydney, but then I looked at the precipitation averages. 18 INCHES OF RAIN IN TWO MONTHS (feb and march)????? Yikes. They get about as much rain in the summer alone as Melbourne gets in the entire year. With all that water, humidity AND the low diurnal range in the summer, I can only imagine what the mosquitoes must be like.
I'm surprised to see that this city only manages to pull a 19 C average annual temp, despite being at 30 S. In Europe there are cities as far north as 39 N that manage that.

These European cities probably have hotter summers and cooler winters (a la, Spain) since they are more continental. Coffs Harbour has rather warm winters for its latitude. Compare it to Shanghai, for instance.

More continental? not in the coast of Spain, there is nowhere in Spain with an annual average above 18ºC which is not in the coast. And no one can apply (by very far) to something related to continental.
39ºN Valencia lows in December, January, February: 8.1ºC, 7.1ºC, 7.8ºC
30ºS Coffs H. lows in June, July, August: 9.1ºC, 7.6ºC, 8.2ºC
not bad considering it's at 39ºN, compared to a 30ºS place... there is actually a bigger difference in the oscillation between the winter highs and the lows in Coffs Harbour compared to Valencia.
for instance, check Ceuta at 35ºN, or Madeira or somewhere in Cali at 32ºN, or a place in Israel at 30ºN... it's not that mild for a 30ºS place. China is probably the worst example for this comparison bro!

Of course I meant the Spanish cities not in the coast, but rather inland.

Yes that's true mate.
Up to 38ºN, like Sevilla and specially Córdoba are perfect candidates. Sevilla has a yearly average of 19.2ºC and Córdoba 18.3ºC, Sevilla has rather mild to warm winters, but Córdoba mild to cool ones.
Yes, Córdoba has pretty continental temperature swings. Same for Sevilla, although not that much as Córdoba!
I give it a D-. The only plus side are precipitations. Summers are hot but still cooler than Milan's ones so livable, but winters are bad, sun hours too high and these cold record lows are terrible. It could be worse anyway.
