Hi everyone,
So these seasons are pretty similar in terms of temperature, and they're both transitional seasons. However, they are different in many ways as well. Which one is better where you live?

I prefer Autumn. It used to be Autumn was the better season... Now lately its been Spring being better. Long story. I voted Autumn. Just nice to get that break after summer heat and humidity

Where I live, spring is a nicer extension of winter, and autumn is a worse extension of summer. So spring wins, by far.

Spring is better, it's drier and sunnier, and March starts slightly warmer than November finishes

Spring x 1 million.

Spring here is cool and has the chance of a bit of rain from time to time. Fall is sweltering heat with unending sunshine and low humidity with zero chance for rain.

Autumn is better here because it is more stable (more predictable nice weather days), it is drier, and the leaves changing colors makes for nice scenery.

They can both be interesting here.

You can get some snow still in spring so that is okay with me. I have crocuses pushing up through the snow here

I love autumn here as well. The colors are gorgeous and I like the transition to cooler weather.

Autumn. I am in OH. Not far from W.VA.

Spring is and extension of winter. Some nice days, interspersed with more winter. It snowed recently. There is snow on the ground. Also, mud. And slush.

Summer weather lasts through September here, with evenings getting crisp, in a pleasant way. Good for walking, hiking, biking, and being outdoors. The foliage is beautiful, also.

Basically, what ever the DOMINANT SEASON - i.e. Winter or Summer - because they are so intense, will influence the next, TRANSITIONAL, season.

So in Spring, it takes a Loooooonnng time to warm up from that endless mess we call Winter.

That said their are some nice Spring days here in OH, but more towards the end of the season.

A hard question, as they're both such nice seasons, but I'll go with autumn - such clear skies, and distant views return.

Seeing the first big snow on the hills is always good.
