The northernmost clear-cut Med climate in the same mould would be Nanaimo in my opinion!
You don't think Sequim or Victoria (Gonzales) would be considered mediterranean? They're both colder.

i'm wondering how easy it might be to grow citrus fruit or possibly a date palm in these medditteranean lands

About as easy as in south-eastern England I'd say.

Both are very similar to Port Angeles but with some deviations I guess

Shanklin is Oceanic in my view, but looks borderline. Very cool for somewhere with that kind of weather pattern.

It is oceanic. Not dry enough summers! Some years will seem mediterranean at that location for sure.

What's the exact threshold for Mediterranean climates in terms of rainfall? Is it true that the wettest month has to see at least three times more rainfall than the driest month?
