Contrary to map....my area (away from the lake) should top out over 90F tomorrow.

1. Seattle - Warm and dry, less than an inch of rain in July and August. Only downside is it can get a bit chilly at night
2. Boston - Not excessively hot during the day, and less diurnal variation, so you can still be comfortable in the T-shirt you wore that day when you go out at night. Only downside is when it gets humid and it's wetter than Seattle
3. Buffalo - Comfortable daytime high temperatures and doesn't cool down as much at night as Seattle. Has slightly more rainy days than Boston however, and about twice as much as Seattle
4. Minneapolis - Hottest daytime highs, cools off a bit more at night than Boston, but should still be comfortable after dark. Has over 4 inches of rain in June, July and August, which is more than the other cities

Minneapolis has the best summers out of all of them for the weather variety and the "living" side of the weather.

I had to laugh when I saw that Buffalo was considered to be a " Northern city ".

If anyone looks at a US map they will see that a number of entire states are well north of where Buffalo is.

xxx.

Buffalo is a northern city. It's at 43N.... NYC, Boston, Chicago, and Detroit are all northern cities. Most of the US is below 40N latitude

What a dumb ass argument. There's also entire state north of our border with Canada at 49 N, should we call North Dakota or Montana a "southern state" now because of this?

Buffalo literally borders Canada. Of course it's a northern city.

I sincerely hope you're trolling. No way is someone really this stupid.

Miami is in the far north since Hawaii is entirely south of it.
