Vancouver -- and I'd spend all my free time up the road skiing at Whistler.

This

Some of the best terrain in North America is 90 minutes away. Or you can live in West Van on the other side of the Lions Gate Bridge and it's an hour. Yeah, there are a lot of Gore Tex days in Vancouver but it's bearable.

I've been in Stockholm a number of times on business in Nov-Feb. There isn't much daylight. Still dark at 9am. Dark again at 3pm.

Too bad one's choices are limited to either Vancouver or Stockholm. Since I am limited to those two only, I would spend December thru March in Vancouver mainly for the longer day length.
But if I really had my druthers......I'd spend it in Christchurch.

Stockholm for the dry cold.

Vancouver is too wet and damp in the winter. Can't stand such conditions.

Always one moron who has to make everything political.

As you can see dimwit, this is the WEATHER forum. Meaning, only weather/climate gets taken into consideration. What a waste of a post.
