What are some places that are really impressive for their latitude?

I'll start with Lycksele in Sweden, which is almost at the same latitude of Yakutsk, at 64'N. The summers are nice and mild (even warmer than northern Britain). Winters are not in the likes of any Siberian cities, and rather, more in the likes of the coldest places in China instead. Pretty decent for its latitude, I say.

Any other good ones?

Southeast BC. Places like Kamloops, Spences Bridge, Osoyoos, Penticton are all very good climates, especially considering their locations at over 50N.

It is far warmer than the "coldest places in China" in winter.

Osoyoos, B.C. and Victoria, B.C. come to mind. All of Puget Sound and the Willamette Valley are quite good for their latitude. Northwest Europe is quite good for the latitude.

I think southeastern WA is pretty good considering how far inland it is.
