It's set to turn extremely cold by the end of the month, according to weather online there will be highs of -1 here and there is snow forecast for this evening.
First half of this January was very cold in Montenegro (except coastal part and near coast).

Spent last weekend in Puster Valley in northern Italy.

In such excellent conditions you hardly feel cold at all.
On a side note, it is incredible how different is the amount of snow on the two sides of the Alps.
North of the main ridge, in Austria, they are literally buried in snow whilst on the Italian side the snow depth is about 20 cm at 1000 m and 50 cm on average at 2000 m
Haven't seen any snow today despite the forecast of snow showers. Apparently we had sleet overnight though but I didn't see it.
0.5CM of snow starting at 16:00 GMT in Sheffield. Wunderground says Rain and snow currently.
