No. It's cooler than an average June and the mean would be record cold in July or August. 20.9c/9.6c would make it the 3rd warmest May, and the 250 sun hours means we are still quite a bit below average for the year so far after the record cloudy March/April.
Something tells me you already knew that though.
Feeling better about this summer now though, I think we will finally get a sunnier than average August for the first time since 2005. Only have to go back to 2014 for a sunnier than normal June or July (June 2017 was exactly average). The cloudy decade could finally be ending.
That's weird. Our May so far is averaging 21.8/10.8 and it seemed like London has had much warmer temperatures so far by looking at the forecasts. No, I didn't know your average in May. I was just guessing.
Now I know why I had that impression. The forecast temperatures significantly differ than the actual temperatures. They also had 28c for today and tomorrow.

We're averaging 24.1C/13.5C as of the 28th. Our average high is about 14C warmer than this past April
