2 stills and a loop.. This was 2 days ago Saturday. Looks like a strong Upper Low/Vortex (white circle) East of Hudson Bay but more importantly watch the area marked "X" and what happens. It Digs..and Digs...and Digs..

It's been in the mid 90's the past 4 days (96F today), with mid 90's forecast the next few days. Still it hasn't managed to get past 96F this year. Not much rain lately and precip chances look low until next week.
In other words very hot with record low humidity levels.
I don't know about the low humidity levels... It might be dry depending where the center of the ridge is located.
For the heat coming this weekend, it's going to be very humid. Especially with the wet soils as of late. Look at the flow around the high into the Midwest right from the Gulf
Where are you seeing this? Accuweather says 93 for Sunday
That would be the all time record high for June, EXTREMELY unlikely.
Sunday is July 1, not June 30, and the forecast for Sunday has been dialed back to 95°F since my last post.
