I know neither of these climates is considered ideal, but they're on opposite ends of the spectrum. I'm wondering which do you think you could tolerate easier?

Hanoi no question. Buffalo winters are brutal. Way too much snow.

Buffalo easily. Hanoi stays too hot and humid, and I’m not a fan of the monsoon season.

Buffalo for having more variety!

Hanoi's heat is awful but it has good precipitation and cloud cover going for it anyway...

You're right. I wouldn't consider Buffalo to be an ideal climate.

It's too warm all year and there isn't enough snow.

But it sure as hell beats the crap out of Hanoi, no doubt about that!

-7c lows are too mild for winter; I prefer much colder.

100" of snow is great, but 150-250" would be better.

If every winter was like 2014-15 there, then it'd be a lot better. Hope that clears things up
