Observations:
Nevada wins driest state.
Central Oregon is pretty dry
Central California is drier than southern Arizona
Central Michigan is a kind of a humidity Oasis
South Texas - eek
Socal isn't very dry
Coastal Carolina is more humid than I imagined

2016 spring/winter wasn't an El nino, so it probably had similar dew points to this past summer.
If anyone can find a dew point map for this year, let me know.
