https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nagano_(city)#Climate

This is a japanese climate that is less gloomy and has less extreme precipitation amounts while still receiving a hefty amount of snow. I would give it a B/B- overall, I wish it didn't spike in august and summer nights were cooler, and it still could use more sun. Summers are likely too humid as well.

Meh, C-. Way too much snow, although summers look fantastic.

E.

Humid continental garbage. Muggy summers. Cold snowy winters. Not my thing.

Grade: 82.4% / B-.

A good climate with no glaring faults, but a notch short of the best in the world.

C. Winters can be colder but the snow amounts are quite good. However, summers are too hot especially August.

C-, winters too snowy and a bit cold for my preferences, hotter and more humid than my liking during summer, great shoulder seasons with moderate diurnal variation. This is one of the better Dfa’s

C-/C+, winters are too cold and snowy and the other seasons are pretty ordinary IMHO, typical continental climate, neither great nor atrocious.
