Do you prefer the continental seasons of Chicago, with the freezing winters and hot humid summers or the mild oceanic climate of Paris, with its cool winters and lukewarm summers?

I prefer Chicago, although its winters are a bit too cold, for having warmer summers and for being wetter and sunnier. I'd give Chicago a B- or so (my ideal is more like a slightly moderated version of NYC) and Paris a C or C+ for being too bland, but occasionally being able to have more wintry and warmer weather.

It also seems to be done here already //www.city-data.com/forum/weath...s-chicago.html

Chicago: B
Winters are okay, but they are not snowy enough and too dry, and too sunny. Summers are too hot and sunny.

Paris: C+
Winters are too warm, Summers are great, Winters are too dry, Sunshine hours are great, It is not snowy enough

So Chicago is the winner

I like Paris more. Milder winters but still some snow and summers are nice. Chicago is just too cold in the winter for me.

Paris.

But that isn't saying anything, as both are rubbish.

Paris is better as Chicago's winter is way too cold but I'd say Paris Orly is equal to Chicago Midway.

Paris, because winters are mild enough that there is green plant life around all year. Can't stand the Midwest's brown wasteland look throughout the winter and continuing into (what should be) Spring.

That said, Paris isn't great either. Summer isn't particularly warm or sunny.
