I wonder if it will be possible for olive trees to grow in Myrtle Beach. It certainly has decent temperature regimes, and if the Bermuda high takes over all summer long, the climate is identical to what you see in Israel or Lebanon. It’s also less susceptible to snow than a good chunk of the Mediterranean areas. So would olive trees be successful in this region ?
Part of the balkans have a humid subtropical climate and olives grow quite well there, so why not in South Carolina?
