Basically a slightly cooler and much wetter version of the Canary Islands. Surely one of the mildest climates of earth -- the record low is 43 F and the record high is 83 F.
I give it a B+. The main drawback is the high frequency of rain year-round. I would also prefer it slightly warmer.
The lack of extremes is both it's strength, and it's weakness. Rating B+.
A slightly milder version of Easter Island.
Rainfall is more abundant in winter than comparable latitudes on the Australian mainland, which is not such a bad thing.
The sort of place I could easily spend 12 months in, but the boredom of both the weather and the lack of excitement of the place would make it time to leave by then.
I would imagine water temps would be >20C year round, so swimming and snorkelling would be a must, provided it is safe.
The place became infamous for the first murder there in over 200 years back in 2002.
Nice mild climate, but lacking what we would consider a real summer. Like our version of April and May all year long. Couldn't tell what the SST were though. I would give it a B.
This has proven to be quite popular. It seems to reach a good compromise between the various extreme tastes here.
Sometime someone should go through and tabulate the average rating of each climate. I'd be interested to see which are most popular.
