I know that some of you or even many of you probably don’t remember this figure, but I feel his projections may very well be among the more realistic scenarios assuming this manmade global warming does indeed materialize due to the burning of fossil fuels. I unfortunately cannot find any matches on his AGW projections but I very distinctly remember one of the quotes from his model, even though I don’t even know when such a projection/postulated impact of climate warming was made.
The quote from the model from what I can remember is more or less as follows:
“Temperatures are likely to be much higher, and precipitation levels are likely to be much lower at the centers of continents than at their periphery”
Credit/Quote by: Wallace Smith Broecker(I can’t remember the year of this quote, sorry)
Nevertheless I feel that history repeats itself and I also remember reading another internet article years ago that echoed similar rhetoric, among them the Midwest resembling contemporary western Kansas or eastern Colorado climatically, since apparently during the “Xerothermic” or prairie period several thousand years ago, the prairie peninsula was further east maybe much further east than it is at present. I believe the original author for the prairie peninsula map was Edgar Thoreau:citation needed:does anyone one here believe that the past is a guide to future climate, assuming the climate is even actually warming/changing?

Sorry made a typo in my original post the figures name was actually Wallace “ Wally” Smith Broecker and not Wallace J Broecker so sorry for any misunderstanding or confusion here.
By the way, in reference to the allusion of the Midwest resembling western Kansas or eastern Colorado, you can find the rhetoric in this internet article from the Stanford University’s website
The name of the internet article is “Global Warming: A boon to humans and other Animals”.
Please feel free to share your thoughts and opinions after reading those internet articles.
