If you notice the week 2 anomalies are now much less positive then they were in yesterday's Blog from Skilling. They will turn out to be negative as we get closer to week 2 just watch

I guess if I want to feel some heat this summer I should go up to Winnipeg
Except there’s no humidity in Winnipeg this year due to the severe drought conditions there, pick your poison I guess, though Chicago still needs the rain too, I guess I see your point on wanting to go there

We have humidity but the temps have been so low that it doesn't even produce a heat index. I could even describe yesterday as being cool and damp. But yes the rain is generally falling south of me
GEFS 6-10 and 12-16 day.... Even though the huge pool of cool air shrinks the pattern will not break and it will remain unsettled with cooler risks here even going into August. Forget it. This summer is a write off

Something like 94% of the western US is now in a drought; I imagine it's similar for western Canada. Almost needs a thread of its own. Fort Peck Lake in Montana illustrates what's happening: the level is supposed to go up June because of rainfall and snowmelt. Instead it went down.
Powerwashing is a big business around here. Not just for ground pavers & concrete but for algae mold, mildew on siding and roofs. Humidity is nasty I couldn't even finish. I was so hot I got todays date wrong. LOL
Your area always has insane levels of humidity during summer anyway, as does the entire state of Florida, it’s the humid summer thunderstorm/rainy season in your area.
