A good example of a Southern Hemisphere subtropical climate. Slightly on the dryish side of subtropicallity, but never mind that, its a decent climate with the coolish dry season nights.

The non-human residents of the area seem to thrive in the climate. Sort of similar to the inland higher elevation areas of Sinaloa or Sonora states in Mexico. Summer tropical rain season and scattered rain in the rest of the year with rare temperatures below freezing in the cooler weather months.
