Grey overcast and drizzle, when longer than a week.
Or constantly sunny, no clouds, no wind, high humidity and temps over 95F /80F at night. Every day, same ol' for weeks. (like in TX). Ugh...
Most annoyingly boring would be weeks of sun and dry heat, there's no escaping that (here in my country at least, almost nobody has AC) and sleep quality goes down big time and no relief with thunderstorms. However, when on vacation, this is my favorite type of weather :P
Most frustratingly boring would be weeks of dry cloudy cool weather. It's useless and would be better with rain (to help nature), but one can still do all normal things, so I guess for functioning it's better than the previous one.
The weather type that I despise the most however, is sunny windy and between 6-12C. Too warm to wear my winter hat, too chilly for fun outside activities. Too sunny to walk without sunglasses and too windy to enjoy anything outside. I hate this type of weather from the bottom of my soul and have much rather dark winter days and if it needs to be sunny and windy, please below -5C.
I live in the Pacific Northwest west of the Cascades, and a couple months into winter, I'm bored with the rain and overcast. But I love it here, and the amazing summers, very slight snowfall, and low summer humidity make up for it. Because I'm retired, I take a trip every non-pandemic year someplace south for a week or 10 days, to get some sun and warmth, and that helps me power through winter. I lived in CA for 25 years before moving here and I have to say, one reason I don't mind the rain is that it beats severe drought.
Late Jan/early Feb here in Michigan. Short dark days, cloudy day after day, absolutely freezing outside, snow piled high and outdoors there's nothing moving or alive, everything is white and looks dead.
