High today was 80F here but 74F at both Chicago airports as the winds blew off of Lake Michigan cooling the city a bit. Same deal tomorrow before a nice warmup

See this? Bet its going to be a common theme this summer well above normal in the northern high latitudes and western North America and cooler wetter than normal in the Eastern two thirds especially the Midwest and Great Lakes regions thank you El Nino

Yup. Definitely not a warm core.
Here's a good graphic explaining it..

At least this one looks like a system. Meanwhile.. look how unorganized Colin was and that got a name. Lol

No it's not. Relax buddy

Summer is just getting started here and all El Nino summers are different. Just take it week by week and don't trust any models past a week. We've had plenty of nice El Nino summers too

Don't count on it being too nice. Well that depends on what you think is "nice"

First half of June doesn't look so nice here according to GFS

Just watch this video from DW.

Not clear what the map of Alaska is supposed to represent. If it's high temps for May 27 of this year then far from accurate. Fairbanks had a high of 69, close to average high. The interior of the state has not seen real warm weather quite yet this year.

Currently here thunder is heard and it is raining lightly.

Loving the coastal effects. Beautiful peaceful late Spring day here with temps in the 70s and dews in the 40s. Little breeze

90s in Maine!
