The high temperature today at PHX Sky Harbor Airport was 113 degrees. That's 8 degrees above normal/average for the date. An Excessive Heat Warning is in effect through Tuesday. #azwx

Next 2 weeks

Looks like the Gulf is open for business. Florida and the Southeast are getting some rain. Either a tropical storm or hurricane might be headed towards the Tampa area. Too early to tell where and how strong.

Dont you live by New Port Richey? The 18z HAFS-A has a 120 mph H3 landfalling near New Port Richey late Tuesday night. Hope its not that strong. As long as the storm track is north of me I can't deal with another hurricane insurance claim. I'm still battling them since Ian last year

Well if that was the case that would be the end for me and the house. I would end it for sure if the house goes. A 120mph storm coming from the SSW would pull up a bowl of water 13ft high and flood everything. This is gonna be a nothing burger and track too far to the west. Won't shock me if i get no rain at all the way things have gone this year with no rain at all. I need 6" this month to break even for normal rainfall.

You can keep that temp. Way too cold. Would love a 65f for a low.

Too bad the fun never made it down here. I'd love a one-off August 27 frost down here for some zestiness.

Better yet, over at pesky Burlington Pier to zoink it out of the way before it starts making 2022-style trouble!
