we are at 33.5 N so i guess we have "better" summers, i think you would love the climate here...............during summer. we get COLD by your standards in winter, we drop below 32: 90 maybe even 100 times every winter and get plenty of nights in the 10's and 20's and even some 0's occasionally. but in summer we get in the 90's almost everyday and get tons of t-storms, with lots of lightning and occasionally hail, we get sleet quite often in winter, if we got snow as often as sleet i would be the happiest person on earth!!!!

Finally got around to making a much needed facelift on the 8-day to make it a 7-Day outlook instead.

I don't think it's worth 100 occasions of 0ºC temps!!!! I think the average yearly occurance of below 0ºC temps here is about 0.

yea, we do get a surpising amount of freezes a year here, but someplace in Canada would average close to 200 freezes a year not 100, and in the Praire Provinces i bet you it's close to 250

the amount of freezes a year here QUICKLY decreases as you head south of Macon, and ATL only averages about 68 freezes a year, but i'm outside of ATL and the urban heat island affect reflects that.

ONLY??!?!!?

That's like over 2 months worth of sub-zero temps! God I'd go mental if that happened here! So far this winter, we've had 0 nights below 2ºC, let alone zero! Last year our lowest was 2.8ºC

And Atlanta is at like 32º latitude, right?

ATL is at 34N latitude, we get more freezes because of the "urban heat island" effect

Up in the mountains of North GA, the can get up to 150 freezes a year

our lowest temperature this year was -13C(8F)

Oh, that's not sub-zero temps. That's only freezing temps. If you want the sub-zeros, you have to live up in my area.
