We never know what we'll get in Houston this time of the year, it can anything from 40-85, but I am guessing it will be 62 for a low and 78 for a high, for Christmas and New Years, but boy do I hope I'm wrong, I hope it's really COLD, in 2004 we had snow for the first time ever on Christmas, what a shock!

I'm dreaming of a green Christmas...
A brown one will do though.

Actually, I don't think I want to know the forecast.
"Hurts my fingers" would be a fairly good guess.

Hey SAB, that's a good idea. We'll have to remember to check back to this thread after the holidays.

ILNC, we were in Fla. Christmas, 2004 and we saw that you had snow down there. It went WAY south that year and it seems like Corpus Christi even had snow. Funny thing is, it was actually around 50 degrees up here that Christmas Day.

Ok, my area is also VERY hard to predict, but....

Christmas Eve low~19

Christmas Day high~25

New Years Eve low~14/windchill 9

New Years Day high~20/windchill 15

Yea, I know~my predictions are a lot higher then it will actually be.

Okay, last 8 years for christmas highs were 75,57,57,78,52,80,62,75, so I predict 58.

lows were 60,39,46,55,25,45,41,39, so I say 47.

New Years were 63,46,80,82,83,86,67,66, so I say 65.

lows were 42,39,45,61,64,64,46,49, so I say 45.

Here's hoping it's a "cool" year.

I am predicting that a heavy snowstorm will move up the eastern seaboard with snow from the SC coast all the way to New England starting on the 24th.

Now that's such an unusual forecast that it'd be funny if it actually ended up happening. We'd have to enlist you to be our meteorologist.

25th:

High of 68, low of 51. Partly Cloudy, 20% chance of precip, some light drizzle in the morning and clearing up after noon......Breeze from the NW at 5-15 mph.

December 31st:

High of 80, low of 48........Cloudy with periods of rain and stroms because of a strong cold front, up to 2 inches of rain possible. Clearing up after sunset, and temp dropping quickly throughout the night. Winds shifting from SSW to NW after front passes

January 1st:

High of 58, low of 37......Clear, sunny, and windy all day, 0% chance of precip, Strong North winds at 15-25 mph.
