A thick blanket of snow is covering everything ( it fell early last night)

This is the first time in my entire life I have seen that much snow covering the ground and the trees still have all their green leaves on.

Usually the first snow that accumulates on the ground is after the leaves have turned color and after they have fallen.

This is crazy !
