Good Morning Sweet Peas!!! It is currently 8;48am here in Germany, and 13.2 degrees c. A high of 20c expected with the chance of showers...we will keep our fingers crossed that they don't develop.

Getting our rental van and off to Poland today, about a 7 hour drive, so get to see lots of Germany landscape enroute. Group of 5 of us girls on our way to a marathon shopping trip at the Polish Pottery factories there...what women won't do for that beautiful polish pottery!!!

If you have never seen it, here is a sample of the patterns:

Polish Pottery Online - Polish Pottery, Polish Stoneware Dinnerware.

Great stuff that goes from the freezer to the oven to the table to the fridge....

Everyone have a WONDERFUL Friday, and fantastic weekend, and a VERY Happy Mothers Day!!!!

Today looks to be another scorcher across S. Texas. Temperatures will range from the 80's along the immediate coast to the 100's further inland (Laredo is expected to be between 105-110!!!). Heat indicies will be above 100 pretty much everywhere across the region, minus the beach locations which will have heat indicies in the lower 90's. Gusty SE winds continued today, and will do so for the next several days. Along with the hot temperatures, fire concerns will be elevated, as our drought continues.

Very cold for May, again. The thunderstorm chance has subsequently been downgraded to nothing as usual.
With a dew point of 0c/32f, do you really think thunderstorms are likely?

Compared to last may, we have done terribly this year. Last May exhibited the perfect weather for the month of May. Here's an idea of what we had yesteryear just to show our weather isn't always stinging cold and gloom.
