Good morning. Hope you all enjoyed the weekend which was way too short for my taste lol
After the weather improved on the weekend we're back to dreary, rainy, drizzly and grey. It's 53°F, not very cold but a little uncomfortable. It would be the perfect weather to snuggle up on the sofa with a good book but at the moment we have no sofa b/c our new one will arrive on Friday.
Yesterday I inaugurated (?) my in-law's new pool. The water, which was fresh out of the tab had nice 57°F. My mil thought I'm a coward and wouldn't jump into the icy water but I just dropped my clothes and in I went in my underwear. Everyone was gaping but in the end it wasn't that cold lol
Today's temp won't rise at all, according to the forecast. Humidity 80% / Rain risk 87%
The forecast for tomorrow already looks better with a lot of sunshine.
I wish you all a great start into the new week!

Good Morning from Germany from me as well as Miguel's Mom!!! I am happy to report our area has nicer weather than they are experiencing up her way. The humidity is 88% here, but the temp is a much more comfortable 22 degrees for today.
Man, what a trip!!! So far the weather has been WONDERFULLY cooperative, and the two days we spent in Poland were bright and sunny without rain, but hit rain driving to and from Poland in Germany.
Got back to the house at 3am on Sunday morning and left with a tour from the base for a Rhine River Mothers Day cruise...it was SO FANTASTIC!!! WE got to tour a castle, cruise the Rhine for 2 hours, had lunch, and then got to tour and take a sight seeing tram up to the "Watch of the Rhine" monument to enjoy the most spectactular view over the entier Rudesheim area. My Lord this country is BEAUTIFUL!!!! Having never been before, I feel like this is stepping into a postcard and while expensive, it honestly can say if you have never been it is something well worth seeing.
Splurged and bought a bottle of 2004 Steillage Eiswein...sells here for 89 euros, in the states for $475 per bottle. Figured it was something that was a once in a lifetime opportunity, so got it.
Off to Paris tomorrow for two days, but a day of laundry and resting up with lunch at a castle this afternoon....life IS good!
Miss you guys!
