When will Winter return???????????
I'm afraid after a long hot summer. By all means get a cat. I have no lizards or mice or rats to contend with.
Only things I dislike about summer are it's easier to get sunburn, (which probably EVERYONE agrees with)
and here "cold" is still just as common as "hot."
*Imho, our "Summers" would make a lovely "Spring",
and our "Spring" would make an adequate "Winter"
I like being in Canada sometimes,
but often the seasons really feel backwards
when you compare temps and sunlight intensity with the calendar date.
(sometimes I'm in a better mood when I forget what time of year it is. )

Yeah, I know you don't like it cold, CC, but at least, you don't have a lizard running around your house tonight...I'm fairly sure!

yah, no lizards (we do have salamanders, newts, mud puppies etc. though) here except at pet stores or in the zoo.
I think in some of the milder parts of British Columbia they havea lizard or two.
