Cold weather makes me happy , so does stormy weather and cloudy/windy weather. Sunny/hot weather makes me kinda depressed lol, even tho sunny is OK if it's below 60F.

Yesterday was the perfect day, about 70-75 degrees, nice day to have all the windows down and crank up some ACDC.

Sunny weather first and foremost. One of my best memories is of a long Easter weekend (late March) in countryside near Alexandra, NZ. Each day had a maximum temperature about 22-23C, with faint breezes and blue dome skies - but with UV levels moderate enough that one could spend lengthy periods of time in the sun. We were staying in a holiday cottage on a hillside with expansive views across the river basin where the town is located, to the mountain ranges to the west, northwest, north and east. In a relatively dry zone the landscape had a good range of colourings, one I never tired of gazing at. The nights had minima of about 12-14C, lowish humidities ensuring they didn't feel damp.

My ideal "happy weather" day.

A cool, clear morning, 10.0c/50f, then heating up very rapidly in full sunshine to 33c/91f by 14:00. Becoming very humid with scattered clouds then a severe thunderstorm with large hail, 99mph winds and torrential rain by 16:00. A very sultry humid evening to allow for sitting outside and having a barbecue with temperatures around 25c/77f until 11.00pm.

99 mph winds?
That's almost a Category "3" hurricane!
(cat "3" usually causes extenstive infrastucture damage )

A day like that is theoretically possible in Toronto; say 1-in-300 summer days.
But windspeeds in the middle of the storm would be more likely 19 or 29 mph.
Unless there's a powerfull coldfront which could bring gusts to 59 mph,
but in that case you wouldn't have the balmy evenings for your barbeque,
but temps likely between 16-19 C until 11 pm.

wow, you'd prefer an extremely cold morning of 10C? I just find crazy considering how much you hate cold.

This is waht would make me happy:

an overnight low of above 20C, followed by a high of 25-30C+ with afternoon lightning storms.

Always though Alexandra is the best climate in NZ.

Excellent weather around here that I really like.

40-50 at night. (great sleeping weather.)
90-95 during the day.

Little or no clouds.

No wind.
