If it wasn't for the weather here, I'd stay. Great enviroment, family, friends, etc. But Colorado is calling to me. Mountains would be another reason i'd leave, but weather mainly.

I didn't know how good we have it here in North Carolina until we went on vacation the last of March a couple of years and started noticing how bad the weather is in some other places. We don't need to go on vacation anywhere. We live our daily lives on vacation mode.

Default Mount Airy kind of says it all, doesn't it.

What is your temperature today, about 70? I like your part of the country even better than where we are, but I don't have a house there and I think we have better medical care in this area around Charlotte. I sometimes miss those 10 inch snows you get. We usually end up with ice storms. My childhood was spent just a few miles from you. Wonderful weather!

Here in KC, winters-too cold with snow (sometimes lots of it!), summers-too hot (with T-storms, anything with T-storms like hail, tornadoes, heavy downpours, lightning, and af course FLOODING) spring-nice weather, but severe weather season) fall-theres not much for me to say about fall except that it gets a little too cool for me. I would like to be able to live in the rocky mountains in summer, and Florida in winter.
