Of course in the midwest, as soon as it reaches 60 after a cold stretch (cold being 20-30 range, not 40 or 50) people get out the shorts and tees!!!
I know, people get so used to the cold (our cold is probably mild to y'all) as soon as it gets to the 60's/70's during the Winter/Early Spring it literally feels like 80's/90's, its so strange.

I am thinking postive; my intent was to remind OP of his/her positives.
I've seen spells of 80 F weather for the Southeast as late as early Dec, and as early as February. (lucky buggers )

Christmas Day in the 60's F is impossible; our daily record for Dec 25th is about 55 F.
However, we have seen high 60's F as late as early-December.

Funny enough,
I recently found I can be as warm, if not warmer in just a bathing suit in full-sunshine... even in with moderate wind
than I can be with a single layer of "light-to-medium weight" long sleeve clothes.
Does that make me seem even more "reptilian" than before?
