Crossville is a city on the Cumberland Plateau in East Tennessee. Summer heat waves are notoriously dulled there. In some years even 90 F / 32 C is an impossible task, but most years it still makes it.
Crossville, Tennessee is at 36N, and given the fact that 89F had already occurred by May 24th north 60 at two places in the Northwest Territories, 90F should have been already recorded in Tennessee at least by mid April. If it hasn't you should move up to Fort Liard to get some real heat.
June 17th had a high of 89 F / 32 C but no official 90 reading yet through July 12th. Most of the hottest part of the summer is still ahead of us though. Wunderground has 91 F / 33 C on July 17th and 18th and 90 F / 32 C on July 19th. I think it will make it in July on one of those days.
Crossville didn't make it to 90 in 2013 or 2014. Last reliable 90 was August 2, 2012. 1,074 days ago (as of July 12th). 2009 didn't hit 90 either. That summer was crap anyway...
A 92 on August 31, 2014 and a 90 on September 10, 2014 are dubious. Temperatures "spiked", both times temperatures were in the high 70s and "spiked" above 90 for a short period (<1 hr) before dropping back into the high 70s. The reliable high is about 78 F / 26 C on August 31 and 81 F / 27 C on September 10, both being expected temperatures given the surrounding areas' high temperatures.
88 F / 31 C at 4pm on September 3. Still hasn't made 90, but anything's possible, and temperature was still rising at that time.
