EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. -- A road supervisor Friday confessed to being caught off-guard by the spring snowstorm that dumped as much as 18 inches of snow in the area.

“This was a little bit of a surprise,” said Andre Brackin of the county’s Department of Transportation.
