BURTON, Mich., Feb. 14 (UPI) -- A Michigan couple won a nature preserve wedding by outlasting other couples at a tree-hugging competition -- holding on for 17 hours, 18 minutes.
Heather Johnson, a naturalist at For-Mar Nature Preserve in Burton, said Nate Weber of Millington and Amanda Harrington of Genesee held onto the tree the longest and won a free garden wedding at the preserve with a reception at IMA Brookwood, the Flint (Mich.) Journal reported Monday.
