Just got a promotion and will be moving from NY (Merrick, Long Island) to Florida. Based on what I know (not too much) was thinking Boca Raton, Delray Beach or West Palm Beach Area. One of the most important elements will be an excellent school district (elementary through high school). We have 2 kids 6 and 9. Would also like to live in a neighborhood where there is good shopping, good nearby restaurants, activities for the kids and one that has a younger population (similar to where I live now)...my wife and I are in our 30's. Considering an existing home or new development, slanting to a gated community. Please feel free to suggest another town as I am not locked in to any I mentioned but definitely want to say toward the eastern end.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you in advance.

Hi...it is a sales position and my territory will be from Palm Beach South to Miami and on the West from Tampa heading south. Won't have to driving everyday but approximately 3 days/week.

The best public school districts in Palm Beach County (elementary through high) are believed to be Jupiter and Boca Raton.

Jupiter is less congested than Boca, but if you're commuting you might want to stick down there.

I agree with Tri..I would have to say to check Boca Raton: Del Prado Elem, Calusa Elem and Omni Middle School and Spanish River High School...or Boca High...Although you have alot of time yet for HS.....Jupiter would also be a great choice as well...
We are originally from NY/Brooklyn...

good luck
