That neighborhood is very pretty (nice designs), but kind of a hike from Ft. Lauderdale airport and in a somewhat congested business/industrial area although they have a nice walking path around there. Also kind of uptight and overpriced general area too, and kind of an older population. It's almost in Delray, very far north. It would be a good choice if you worked in the area, but there are good choices closer to the airport.

Have you considered Davie? Check out all of those communities along Pine Island Rd, anything from 150k condos there to million dollar homes, 99% decent. Boca would be about 30 minutes to the airport (plus expensive) and Davie is about 15 minutes away and has walking trails, lots of young families, not congested, some country feel. Cooper City is another option, you could take Griffin Rd (stay off the highway) and also be at the airport in 15 minutes, but neither one of them have the glitz of Boca. In fact, they both feel unusually Middle American for South FL. If you want glitz, then commuting from Boca is the obvious choice.
