Very hard to find good mex and tex-mex here - for obvious reasons, like you don't share a border with Mexico
There's often a Taco truck on Belvedere near the Citgo, just before the highway. Also, on Southern Blvd. across from the Publix Plaza.

Never been, but it's probably very authentic, lol.

haha! Been there - good stuff. Call me crazy - but sometimes I really want a table to sit at and somebody to bring me refills Zapatas on Dixie, past 10th, I think, is pretty special...

I tried a lot of places, most are okay but not that great. Aleyda's Tex-Mex on Okeechobee has been around for a long time and is probably one of the best places that is themed accordingly with Mexican music and live Mariachi on certain days, the owner started out in one of those mobile Taco trucks. They have a great menu and their rice is the best.

Aleyda's Tex-Mex Restaurant - West Palm Beach, FL. (561) 688-9033

I have been to several Tex-Mex places here and they are playing Salsa music, most notably is Catina Laredo in PBG, which I find annoying.
